“Lisa and I just finished a glorious hike up Volcan Mountain. The ecosystem shifted gradually until we hit groves of juniper-like pines and big patches of dry grasses and scrub at the summit, where we could see Coronado in the distance. On the way down I collected acorns (for dye) from oaks with oddly shrub-like leaves. I really like Julian and Ramona. Lisa is laughing at me for spitting in the paint.
