A 14 × 14 inch, acrylic painting of the sky. A journal entry is handwritten on the painting:

“What a fiasco. Lisa and the girls and I went to JFK this morning to fly to CA. I stupidly timed it to get to the airport one hour before flight time without taking into consideration the storm last Thursday. JFK was a nightmare. Addee kept her wits about her and with some luck and persistence got three of us on the flight, but Ella, booked separately, got left behind. It felt a little like leaving one daughter to fend for herself in a zombie apocalypse. After arriving in La Jolla, we found out that Ella got on the next flight to San Diego after waiting in line for five hours.
