“It’s hazy but much less oppressively hot than the last few days. I’ve been casting a wide net over many projects this summer by reading Melville to Albers to Baldwin and pointing lasers through lenses in a dark room. But now it’s time to start pulling things together. Today, though, is a fun day. Right now I’m on my way to introduce Inan to Kiki’s Delivery Service, my fave Miyazaki film.
