A 14 × 14 inch, acrylic painting of the sky. A journal entry is handwritten on the painting:

“Somehow I couldn’t get this blue just right. Maybe it’s because I forgot to pack a gray. It’s a bittersweet moment, but maybe that’s not quite the right word, because I’m so very sad. Tomorrow I will fly to L.A. (from LA) essentially to say goodbye to Zizi, who is succumbing to the disease that has informed so much of her life over the last 20 years. But I’m here with Addee and Lisa and Victoria in New Orleans now to see Lisa’s work which utilizes Suzan-Lori Parks’ plays. It’s lisa’s best work ever. Today we’ll ride bikes to go see Hayal’s and Yun Fei’s works and others’.
