“Ella left yesterday and Emmett left this morning. I went to bed with a cough and have a terrible headache this morning. It’s cold and damp. The sky seems a bright white, but is grey compared to the Whole Foods sign, which must derive its whiteness from the light of the sky. It’s a Wittgensteinian problem.
