A 14 × 14 inch, acrylic painting of the sky. A journal entry is handwritten on the painting:

“I was preoccupied cooking a Korean feast for my parents, niece Olivia, Emmett and Meg, and forgot to make a painting. There’s a thick fog as the sun is rising and it’s amazing how much the color is changing. There is so much in how to describe these colors. Is this grey? Is this white? How could it be brighter than blue? It’s clearly not, intellectually, but is it constancy that makes it seem like white?
